Forum Thread: We can't get the new i-pad 1-padding!

I'm sure many other people have already asked: How do I get my daughter's new ipad working when I only have a pc laptop?

I've plugged it in and followed the first bits but then it just comes to a screen with itunes on it. It would be terrific to watch her utilising its many features. Is it possible that apple would sell a product that wasn't plug and play?
