How to Hide all the drives of MY COMPUTER

HI,everybody i will show you how to hide all the drives in MY COMPUTER it is very easy.You can use these steps to fool your friends or even use it as a warning for them to not mess with you.You can call this as a computer hack but it is not something dangerous. OK so now we START.

The Registry editor will now open

  1. First Go to START-RUN and type REGEDIT now a window will open and on the left side of the window you will see some keys like: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT,HKEY_CURRENT_USER,HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE,HKEY_USERS and HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG.
  2. Now click on HKEY_CURRENT_USER you will see that a drop down menu will open
  1. now click on software
  2. Then click on Microsoft
  3. Then on Windows
  4. Then CurrentVersion
  5. And at last click on Policies
  6. Now under this key there will definetly be a key named Explorer.Now click this Explorer key.You will see that on the right side there will be blank space.

  1. Now right click your mouse on the blank space and click on NEW
  2. Then click on DWORD value
  3. Now name it as NoDrives
  4. Now right click it and click MODIFY
  5. And change its value to 3ffffff(3 and 6 f's).By modifying its value to 3ffffff you impose the restriction.

To see the effect you can simply refresh your desktop or restart your computer.

If you want to remove the restriction simply change the DWORD value to 0 or delete the DWORD Value.
